A natural taper
The hair gets gradually shorter toward the ears and neckline without ever reaching bare skin. There is no hard line where the guard changed and no visible step between lengths, just a continuous gradient that reads as hair rather than as a haircut.
Scissors on top
Scissors leave a softer edge and let me keep weight where a client needs it, which is why these cuts grow out cleanly instead of going shapeless after two weeks. Clippers handle the sides and the neckline, blended so no line shows.
