Scissor Haircut.
A men’s haircut where the top is cut by hand with scissors, so it falls the way you actually wear it. The sides stay longer and natural, never taken down to skin.
It’s for a classic, grown-up look you can part, comb back or leave natural. No need to know the name of a cut: show me a photo or describe what you want.
Scissors where it counts.
Top: scissors
I cut the length on top by hand with scissors, then take out bulk with thinning shears so it lies flat, moves naturally and doesn’t puff up as it grows.
Sides: kept longer
For a classic cut I use clippers on a longer guard, leaving about half an inch to an inch on the sides, then blend it softly into the top.
Edges: clean finish
Trimmers clean up the neckline and around the ears every time, so the cut looks finished from every angle.

Real clients.
Before you book.
Is it scissors only?+
The top is cut with scissors. The sides use clippers on a longer guard so they stay even, and trimmers clean up the neckline and around the ears. That combination gives the cleanest, longest-lasting result.
Do you do fades?+
No. I don’t do fades. With this cut the sides stay about half an inch to an inch long and blend softly into the top, never down to bare skin.
How often should I come back?+
Every four to six weeks keeps the shape. Because the sides are left longer, the cut grows out cleanly between visits.
How do I book a scissor haircut?+
Book a Men’s Haircut online. It’s the same appointment, $40 and 30 minutes. You can add a note when you book if you want more length left on the sides.
